Black and White and Lovely All Over!

Today I want to share a lovely little card using 

2 colors, 2 stamps, 2 accents and a few daisies!

It's quick and easy and features a sweet sentiment.  

Each time I read this little verse from "Smiles Begin With You", it reminds me of all the people important to me, my dear family and friends!  It's fun times with all of them that make me the happiest!

I love a black and white color combination and it really works with this card.

Using the little swirly stamp from the July Stamp of the Month called "Life Is Wonderful" for the background was a clever idea I saw on a Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  This monthly hop showcases great artwork by talented Close to My Heart consultants.  Here's the striking card that Lisa Plummer created which inspired me.  Thank you Lisa!

So Wonderful I Can't Decide!

Are you ever decision impaired?  When you just can't make a decision because you like all the choices?  

That's the case with me and these cards!  

Good thing this isn't a life threatening issue!  Ha!

It's simply too hard for me to decide which version of this 

Life Is Wonderful card I like best!  The Snowhaven patterned paper has a Glacier print on one side and a Black/Glacier dotted print on the other.  It's a winter themed paper but you wouldn't know it, it's so versatile!  When I was putting it together I couldn't decide which pattern to use, so I made both options.

Which is your favorite? 

 I used the July Stamp of the Month ~ Wonderful Life and stamped "Life is" in Versamark ink and used White Embossing Powder to give a chalkboard look.  I inked and stamped it a second time with Cranberry on a bitty scrap piece of White Daisy cardstock and cut out the little "is" banner to place on top.  "Wonderful" is stamped in Black ink on Glacier cardstock, cut out and placed on top.

Couldn't Be Cuter!

I really don't think this little koala bear could be any cuter!  The darling stamp set this little guy is from was designed for the Close To My Heart catalog in Australia and New Zealand.  I'm so happy US customers can order it too! 

I stamped koala on Bamboo cardstock with black ink and gave him a bit of color with Desert Sand and Pink Watercolor Pencils.  Give him a touch of White Daisy ink on his ears and tummy with a Q-Tip for perfect highlights.  Love it!

*Note:  I had a big black ink smudge on background of the card in the first picture, so I hid it with an extra border strip of Black and Bamboo cardstock with a little fancy Triangle Border Punch accent!  Magic!  Sometimes "oopsies" turn into good ideas!

What's cuter than a koala bear card?  Well, 13 koala bear cards, of course!  I made all these cuties for some consultants on my Close To My Heart Team and sent them as "Happy Mail"!  I do hope they made them smile!

The Koala Cuties Stamp Set is filled with adorable baby designs but can be used for other sweet occasions as well!
