Baptism Day Card

I was recently asked to make a special Baptism card for my sister-in-law to give her sweet little grandson.  I had seen a ribbon cross idea on Pinterest that I wanted to try, so I dug through my retired Close To My Heart organdy ribbons and pulled out silver.

I found it to be quite easy to thread the ribbon through punched holes to create the soft and subtle cross.  I attached the ends on the back with some tape and accented the front with a little charm and sparkle.  I really love the different textures on the card with the dotted embossing, the ribbon and the sparkle.

The card is a 5 x 7 giving plenty of space to focus on the cross and embellishments.

I found this sentiment online and printed it for the inside:
May this Baptism Day
be only the beginning
of a lifetime filled
with blessings
of faith, hope and love.

List of CTMH supplies:
Whisper and White Daisy cardstock
Retired Silver Ribbon and Charm
