Fancy Fold BOO Card!

 It's getting close to Halloween but there are still a few days to share more fun cards made with the Cats & Bats Paper Pack and Complements!

This was my favorite of the cards I designed for Boo University (my annual Halloween workshop) this year.  It has 4 panels that are decorated with lots of spooky cute Close To My Heart Thin Cut dies, stamps, stickers and accents!

BOO is from the Cats & Bats Scrapbooking Stamp + Thin Cut Set.

It might be a little hard to tell in the photo, but the new two-tone cardstock was perfect for this type of fancy fold card!  When folded, the front shows the light and dark values of the beautiful Charcoal color.

The Charcoal cardstock base is so easy to cut!  Start with a 5.5" x 11" piece.  On the Versamat cutting side, use a ruler and cutting knife to make an angle cut from 2" to the corner of 5.5".  Score at 4" and 8", then fold.  Ta-da!

Never Enough of Cats & Bats!

I just can't get enough of the Cats & Bats Papers and accents!  I will be sharing lots of spooky cute projects with you over the next week starting with this fun sign.

We made the little Beware sign at my 5th annual Boo University 

Halloween Workshop. 

Out of the 6 projects, this spooky little wooden sign was everyone's favorite.

I was so happy everyone enjoyed making the sign and hope they like displaying it for many Halloween seasons!

A close up of the spooky little black glitter spider I cut with one of the CTMH Exclusive Cricut Cartridges.  I also cut a spiderweb stencil for the background.  Both shapes were  from Artbooking.

Christmas From the Heart

I've been loving the Close to My Heart National Stamping Month special, From the Heart, all month!

 I just fell in love a bit more because of Christmas!  

The flowers in the stamp set are gorgeous in Christmasy colors placed on the wonderful interactive card bases!

Simply take a white cardstock circle and lay it on the card front.  Draw a light pencil line around the circle creating a pattern for stamp placement.  Next stamps the flowers, leaves, stems and berries just over the pencil line with the majority of the stamp designs on the outside of the circle.  When stamping is complete, attach the sentiment circle with foam tape.  Add the Gold Glitter Gems and the Gold Shimmer Brush for a little sparkle.
