A Classic Summer Bash

Can we all agree that we love canning jars?
They never really go out of style and they are so versatile!

We can drink from them, arrange flowers in them, store food in them and buttons and marbles and nuts/bolts/nails and more!

They can be candle holders, snow globes, lamp bases and lamp shades, temporary homes to caterpillars, fire flies, and frogs!

I could go on and on, but what I really want to do right now is share some of the fun I've had lately with this cute little jar. It's in the May Stamp of the Month called a Classic Summer Bash.
The more I play with this delightful set, the more I want to try new things. The ideas will not stop!  I'll post more samples before the month is over.

For now, I'll start with the three cards I recently designed.
Please don't ask me to pick my favorite, I can't do it!

If you have a favorite, I'd love to send you that card!  Just place a qualifying order on my website of $25 (before ship/tax) and as a thank you, I'll send you a completed card or if you'd prefer that card as a kit ready for assembly, I'll get it in the mail to you!

Hydrangeas in a pretty blue jar.  How can you go wrong, right?
That pretty pink striped paper is from the Beautiful Friendship pack.
The sentiment is from my favorite stamp set in the new Seasonal Expressions 2. It's called Fresh Air - Cardmaking.  Comes as a stand alone stamp set or bundled with coordinating Thin Cuts.

I discovered the White Ribbon looks really cool fringed!

Here's some fresh lemonade and a cute pink and white straw.
This card is sweet and summery with more of those lovely Beautiful Friendship papers!

Wait! Don't forget the guys!
No matter how you roll the dice,
Dad deserves a relaxing day!
A bit of Documented and Fresh Air papers are the perfect
papers for this Father's Day greeting!

Who knew a little ice cube stamp could double as dice?
A win with a full house!
Can you spot the straw?

I hope you've enjoyed these cards.  If you did, leave me a comment with which card is your favorite!

  1. Hi, Margi! Love the cards. I wasn't too crazy about this stamp set from Fresh Air, but seeing them used this way, opens a whole new window of ideas! How did you do the beer foam?
