One Little Stamp, So Much Happy Color!

So....I had this idea.
I thought, what if I took that cute little argyle stamp from the
D1811 Dad is Rad stamp set (see the whole set below) and used
rainbow colors stamp pads for a background?
I gave it a try with ten pretty CTMH Stamp Pads and Ta-Da,
an amazingly colorful argyle rainbow background was born!
I LOVED it!
So bright, so colorful, so pretty!

I dug right in creating these four cards!
I hope you like them as much as I do!

Surprisingly, it didn't take that long to stamp the background on White Daisy cardstock. Plus, it was easy to line up each section because of the beauty of CTMH Acrylix Stamps and Blocks! I used my favorite rainbow colors of CTMH Stamp Pads and did some stamp rolling. This inking technique is simple to do by stamping the whole stamp in the lighter color and rolling one end in the darker value of the same color.
For example: Ink the whole stamp in Blossom, then ink just half of the diamond shape Cranberry.

I made larger cards and had a couple of tiny scraps left. Believe me, I was not about to let them go to waste, so I made a 3 x 3 gift card. See the last thin strip of stamped paper I put inside the
little card? It adds just a touch of rainbow "happy"!

Do you remember the doll called Rainbow Brite? My daughters had one and here's my version with this little cutie! The June Stamp of the Month "A Bushel & a Peck" girl stamp is adorable!
